While everything may seem to echo in your lonely home now, the sound is stopped in your teenage themed pre-college rooms with a collection of furniture and left behind belongings. Or maybe you still have the nursery set up in all its baby soft splendor.
If the idea of turning your closet into a nursery nook sounds unappealing, check out the Lushome collection of small nurseries created right in master bedrooms. Here are practical tips and inspirations that may be useful for your bedroom redesign and redecorating.
To save space and maximize storage, reimagine your changing area. Turn the bottom of the changing table into storage. Or forego the changing table altogether and turn your baby’s dresser into a changing area (or your dresser if your room is functioning as the nursery. You can even purchase a crib-top changing table, which is a little changing area that rests securely on top of the crib. When you’re not using it, store it under the crib.
If you have a small baby nursery to work with, you may want to consider a mini crib or a corner crib instead of a regular rectangular one. Both of these options save a considerable amount of space. On the other hand, if you have a large nursery room, a round crib placed in the center can be more interesting than a standard crib against the wall.
